So not bad for the price but how does it perform? That’s what this review intends to show you, so read on….

the forefront of some of the most exciting advances in audio technology.
Wren Sound Systems’ first product, the Wren V5AP speaker, is a wireless audio system for use with Apple AirPlay. Designed by a team of audio industry veterans, the Wren V5AP harnesses the latest audio and WiFi technology to deliver rich, room-filling sound and superior ease of use. The speaker’s refined design features real wood cabinets available in either rosewood or bamboo finishes. The speaker has a few identifying marks on it which is a label on the back with Wren logo and specs and on the side wording telling you the power button ,volume and mode labels
The speaker comes with a remote,30 pin to USB cable, varies user manuals
This speaker is great for those who want a nice living room speaker to sit back and lisen to your tunes when you get home after a long day Since its airplay all you have to do to use it is select it like you would to stream a video to your apple tv but you would select Wren instead of apple tv giving you a bit of information about the speaker without reading you a ton of specs is this speaker is a Intersil® D2 Audio DSP controlled stereo class D amplifier with 25 watts-per-channel of real power and let me tell you this speaker sure packs the punch of POWER! Along with two 3-inch-diameter long-throw drivers with 4-layer voice coils augmented by stereo bass-reflex design and Two 19mm edge-driven wide dispersion soft dome tweeters there’s a lot more specs but I won’t bore you with that if you want to read more you can click onto the product page
Another cool thing about this Wren speaker is if within the 3 years you decide you don’t want to be a apple person (which I don’t know why you would want to change) You can exchange it for the Bluetooth or Play-Fi speaker something you can’t do with no other speaker on the market today as I write this
I used this product for a few weeks on loan from Wren (click here for more information about the loan), it was a sad moment when I had to box it up and send it back one of the best larger wireless speakers I have used that I truly loved If you have an iDevice or Android device you are sure to love this speaker
So yes Wren V5 is a expensive product, but is it even worth it? I would say yes but I would also recommend a few other different speakers if the V5 is out of your budget but I like I have always said a little investment goes a long way
So in all it’s not bad for a non-portable wireless speaker and I don’t think you will find any other product better than Wren from the design to the way there products are made there made tough even though I don’t recommend dropping the speaker
The final score averages out to be a 10 out of 10, but that takes into account everything, but as you can see below it the pros out do the cons by a long shot.
|+Simple to use
+solid and reliable
+able to exchange the speaker within the 3 year warranty
|-5 sec delay when playing , skipping audio|
