Now I have a few hard drives kicking around collecting some dust here and there and lots of stuff on flash drives and in the
cloud what would be easy for me is to just move them to those Hard and Solid state drives what was stopping me well number
one I didn’t have an extra computer lying around to put the drive in and transfer the files to the drives but now with
the USB 3.0/2.0 SATA Hard Drive Docking Station by UTechSmart I can do just that and finally get to see the real true speed of the Kingston SSD Drive together with the Utechsmart and the Kingston SSD its the best pair better than going out and buying an
external hard drive now I can have many external hard drives It’s also lightweight and has a simple design so it’s easy to connect and use. Simply slide drives gently into top of docking station, with SATA connectors aligned. Do not exert force. Drives will attach and rest on the SATA connector with the drive centered in the dock, with space for airflow on all sides. One thing I really love about this docking station No drivers are needed! and it uses a standard USB mass storage class support already provided in Windows XP and later, Mac, and Linux the LED on the top of the station reports drive activity and the Power switch allows drive to be turned on/off independently which I recommend before removing and inserting the drive just to be safe UTechSmart I belive is fairly new company but they seemed to know whats up and understand their customers demands
Overall I am totally loving UTechSmart sells on both NewEgg and Amazon so its your preference where you want to go to buy this dock station In the box 1 USB 3.0 to SATA HDD Docking Station (using ASMedia 1053E Chipset). 1 12V/2.5A AC power
adapter. 1 USB 3.0 cable . 1 user manual. * Note for Mountain Lion (10.8) users: If you are experiencing formatting problem, please note that this is unrelated to the performance of the dock. You may try reformatting your disk to the FAT32 format on another operation system.
