Something that is great about this brand of cases I am reviewing today and which I’ve reviewed in the past is their design, concept and mission hasn’t changed like most sellers who sell online the company is called URBAN ARMOR GEAR their products show the independent spirit of their own designers and represent a dedication to superior quality and craftsmanship. their distinctive cases are engineered to protect your gear from the rigors of an active lifestyle and enhance the utility of your device. their Composite Cases show a patented design that features a hard outer shell and a soft impact resistant core. Although visually striking, the unique shape of the case also provides structural rigidity while minimizing size and weight. The materials are resistant to UV rays and common chemicals found in sun block and hand creams. The marriage of these design elements and materials working in unison maximizes protection for your device. UAG cases are available in an array of vibrant colors.Today I am going to review the URBAN ARMOR GEAR NEW METROPOLIS CASE FOR IPAD PRO 10.5-12.9 (2017)

UAG Metropolis cases for the iPad Pro (I know sounds and looks like something out of a batman) features 360-degrees of coverage with a folio smart cover that doubles as a stand, and fuses an impact-resistant soft core with durable corner bumpers for complete drop and shock protection. UAG’s stylish design allows full access to the touch screen and volume buttons, with oversized ports for compatibility with 3rd party charging and headphone cables.

The case features cut-outs and raised areas for:

  • Volume Buttons
  • Rotate Switch
  • Earphone jack
  • Speaker
  • Camera and Flash
  • Power Button
  • Apple Pencil Holder

Once the case is on it has really good scratch and heavy duty drop protection but I wouldn’t go testing this out by dropping your very expensive iPad Pro with Apple on the ground in this case not a good idea I did do a bit of a small test here and there for drop protection but it means US military grade for protection so does that mean it’s gun or bomb protected umm… that does make me wonder how deep that military grade goes into. But anyways I’ve always like this case for my iPad and I think I convinced my friend with this case though it was tough to get them on board with the price but I think (not sure as I can’t read minds cool if I could right?) it’s tough enough for any job to help protect your tablet from a drop off a desk, bed or maybe a tiny drop down some rocks while hiking. Describing the case is easy it has a soft flexible shell almost like TPU but thicker and durable to put your tablet into plus that folio top is strong like no other case (besides UAG!)

Overall

After using this case for a few days on my friend’s iPad Pro  I couldn’t find any faults this case in fact I love the new design where they added an Apple Pencil holder and that the clasp that holds the top in place also goes around the apple pencil and that holder isn’t made on the cheap. My friend did add add “even though it adds some extra bulk (but it isn’t alot) David it’s worth it for the money you are spending on the iPad Pro”.
