Today I am going to review a charging cable for apple your new macbook or USB C Smartphone  from a company called Uni founded by a team of enthusiasts who studied, worked, and lived in United States, with the ambition to bring quality products to worldwide customers through online channels: Amazon and others. Taking advantage of the strong supply chain ecosystems around Shenzhen, China, where lots of Amazon brands are based some of them I’ve reviewed for like Anker, Aukey, RAVPower, CHOETECH,Mpow, and many other brands. At uni, they focus on Quality, Design, Customer Service, and Packaging. They strive to bring you the best for all your USB Type-C needs:power, data, video, and many others. The Uni USB C to USB C Type-C Charging Cable costs about $28.95 USD list price but I got mine for $14.99 but as I write this post it’s $11.99 so just like everything on amazon it changes with the market but it does come with free shipping if you have PRIME So not bad for the price range but how does it perform? That’s what this review intends to show you, so read on….

Product Name: Uni USB C to USB C Type-C Charging Cable

Provider: Uni

 The Review:

The packaging, comes in a small box, neatly packed inside a bag is the charging cable, customer support and warranty card and  for retail purposes pictures for what you can use the cable for printed on the box

The sync cable does have any identifying mark the Uni logo on both ends and on the velcro cable ties  As I am writing and reviewing this cable from a friend’s macbook I took a look at the one that came with his macbook both cables still have that white greasy feel like my MAGSafe charger I’m not a fan of these white apple cables since they are very hard to clean and seem to turn yellow when they get dirty and never seem to keep white ever again hopefully that doesn’t happen with his cable but I do wish for some future products that they make some braided cables that is what I am a fan of with aluminum ends.

In terms of design and durability  from the different charging cables I’ve reviewed again I will say I still prefer cables that are braided but my friend really isn’t picky as long as it works and doesn’t cost “an arm and a leg and a brain” he is fine with it. If could make one more suggestion I would also some up with some cool colors  like maybe Blue,Gold,Rose Gold or Silver

So yes the charging cable is priced well but is it even worth it? I would say YES! if you want a durable charging cable to last and look just like the typical apple charging cable

BTW while researching the company to learn more about them when I got this product I came across a Kickstarter that I guess they attempted to try out but later canceled looked like a neat item if it ever does come back.  So after viewing that video it looks like these guys know how to design a good product whether a cable or dock
