Today I am going to review a dash camera from an company on amazon called DR. PRO. The camera costs about $129.99 USD and comes with Free Prime shipping if you have PRIME so that’s all you will pay. So not bad for the price but how does it perform? That’s what this review intends to show you, so read on….

Info:

Product Name: DR.PRO 4.5″ LCD 360 Degree Panoramic Dash Cam

The Review:

The packaging, is a black box which shows a outline/blueprint of the dashcam that says “DR. PRO 360 DASHCAM” and some contact info

The camera does have an identifying mark on it which is DR.PRO on the back of the camera. There is no buttons on the front since it’s by TOUCH so that makes it easy to use and you can shut the camera display off with the ONLY button on the back something I forgot to mention in my review video  so you don’t get distracted by it while driving and still be recording, on the back of the camera you will find the dash cam fits to most car setups but I didn’t like the mount that much unlike my GOLUK camera if I needed to remove that camera it’s easy, this camera I might have a hard time if the plastic that holds the camera on the dash doesn’t want to come unattached most of the time if the car is warm enough and you want to remove it the sticky might come with it. The very top of the dash cam you will find the micro usb port where you put the usb car charger cable into also there is a spot for the backup camera to be inserted by a 3.5 jack something I liked seeing since most of these camera don’t allow for that kind of setup good if you are only using the car for a few months while on holiday, next you find the SD card slot (I don’t think I need to tell you about this part) and I didn’t see a reset button but I did see this option in the menu. This camera is quite good but might be a bit in the way depending on what you are looking for I like the different camera angles not bad comparing to other options on the market for recording your car from inside or outside in my opinion..

The camera does come with an Instruction manual  The Dashcam also comes with Micro USB car charger but you can use usb cable if you have one so you can still use your phone car charger adapter which is what I use so I can charge my phone, but unlike a few other past dash cameras it doesn’t come with a SD card which isn’t a problem if you email the company they will send you one NICE!

Conclusion:

So yes the camera can be expensive for some budgets for a dash camera , but is it even worth it? I would say yes if you want to start recording the road or inside your car for insurance purposes But if you are looking for a camera with zoom this camera won’t do that it will pan and tilt a small bit you can zoom in but it’s software zoom and not the best. Once you plug in the camera it usually starts recording having the display is great for playback  but doesn’t give the real video files true justice  Oh and it also picks up audio so if people are talking in the car you can pick up their conversations but the audio isn’t the best in my opinion but you can always turn that feature off.  So in all it’s not bad for a dash camera but I would also suggest you take a look at my Goluk T2 review which is my Dashcam of choice as of right now

A few notes I’ve learned from other dash cams in the past which I think might be helpful with this one too. If the card is not compatible, just format it with the card plugged in.
Battery is mainly used to save files in emergency. Pls always connect external power while driving. Motion detection should be set to OFF in recording when driving to avoid randomly stopping recording & small files saved. Also if you want to learn how to install  the backup camera I embed a video from another Youtuber which I think might help out
