Rocketek USB 3.0 & eSATA Hard Drive Enclosure

Today I am going to review a hard drive enclosure from a company called Rockettek which is a very new company making different computer and mobile accessories.  The design of the enclosure is very unique and  looks very nice for being able to transfer files from another hard drive the enclosure costs about $19.99 USD and comes with Free shipping  so that’s all you will pay. So not bad for the price but how does it perform? That’s what this review intends to show you, so read on….

Product Name: Rocketek USB 3.0 & eSATA Hard Drive Enclosure

Provider: Rocketek

Price: $19.99 Free Shipping (Amazon)

The Review:

Recently I have reviewed a few different enclosures  and while all are the same in a way of what they do it all comes down to price when its in the game on Amazon this one here can a bit tricky to open but not to worry it does open just located the USB or screw area and once you have removed the screws just slide out and remove the drive  I do suggest if you’re looking for a drive to first check out Kingston for a top quality SSD

The enclosure comes with sata cable, USB 3.0 cable,USB power cable, screwdriver, 4 screws I thought it was very nice of them to include the screwdriver since most companies lack to include this The Enclosure is made using a molded high quality and durable aluminium steel alloy which makes it a modern and aesthetically pleasing design

I used this product for a few weeks and I have to say I like it but I would say any enclosure does the same task so as I said before it just depends on what design you want in enclosure and where you want to buy it there’s no drivers since the power is in the Hard Drive

So yes Rocketek USB 3.0 & eSATA Hard Drive Enclosure is an inexpensive product, but is it even worth it? I would say yes but I would also recommend you search around and look at other enclosures to compare what you really want

So in all it’s not bad for an enclosure if you want to make SSD as a external hard drive to store family images or as a backup for your YouTube channel

The final score averages out to be a 10 out of 10,
