Qube By Matrix Audio Review

Today were going to be taking a look at the Qube made by Matrix Audio. The Qube is a portable speaker made out of aluminum. Now when i say this thing is portable i really mean it! This thing is just as small as a regular sized golf ball!

The Build Quality:

At the back of this beast or may i say little monster it features a small power button and a mini USB port. The USB splits out two ends. A 3.5 mm audio jack and a normal USB to charge the device. The power button might just be a little only a little bit small for my taste but it

still does the job and works fine. Also you get a little nice caring pouch which holds the cable and the Qube quite well. The build quality

on this thing is amazing. I really mean that. This product features a all round aluminum base. This makes the product more sturdy and more solid. Although you may think this thing would be heavy your wrong. Its not extremely light nor extremely heavy its a

nice balance to have and this is why it makes the build quality more solid! At the front it features a plastic sort of mesh to let the audio flow through and to protect the speaker which adds to the amazing design. I would also like to add as a personal note that this thing matches my Macbook Pro so they go really well together! You can get this product in three different colours. Silver, Red and Black.

Sound:

Well this is a interesting one. The sound on this thing is great! Its has a magnificent balance between treble, vocals and base. The base

isn’t to overpowering but it is still very much present if you are a big person into base. Trebles are very impressive as it goes well with the

base presence. Also vocals are probably one of the strongest points in sound. Surprisingly the vocals are very strong and beautiful to the ears. In most portable speakers now a days it is very hard to get strong vocals. But Matrix Audio has achieved this some how and i am extremely impressed. Best of all this is all packed into one solid portable device!

The Verdict:

This product is just simply amazing, impressive and beautiful all in one little product. I have to recommend this to anyone looking for a red_1 really good sounding portable speaker! And for the price you cannot go wrong! This thing only costs $49.99 USD! Which is great value for anyone. I am looking forward to reviewing the Qubes older brother and sister The Matrix One and the NRG.
