Haven’t you ever said “man I wish I a mobile stand now to watch my favorite episode of Mike and Molly No well then I can I have and I want to tell you about this cool  product called the PopSocket which was a Kickstarter project in 2012 and is an accessory for your mobile devices that expands and collapses by way of an accordion mechanism So how does it work ?

Where ? : popsockets.com

Price : $14.95 USD

It works by using the PopTek Adhesive which is a thin sticky-gel pad that attaches to the PopSockets For All to most devices and cases. The pad is reusable, and leaves no sticky residue which I thought was crazy and amazing at the same time now If the PopTek pad gets dirty when detached all you have to do is simply wash it with soap and water and let it air dry completely to return its original stickiness. Something I thought was neat was the reusable adhesive forms a bond to various strength with different surfaces But I should warn you should always test the strength of the bond with the surface before use. This product may be used as a supplemental aid to holding a device only when the device is otherwise securely supported. Something to note is if you are thinking to use this as a primary support for your device you might be out of luck and it may result in damage or injury due to the unexpected release of the PopTek from your device. As I said in the video below I have used one other product like this but once you stuck it on it stayed on and there was no way to remove it plus it wasn’t as bendable with the angles like Popsockets are Now you might be saying How could someone come up with a neat product like this? Well David Barnett, a philosophy professor at the University of Colorado at Boulder, invented PopSockets. He realized that the backsides of devices go largely unused and wanted to give that space a purpose, style and added functionality. His product won the “WIRED.COM FUELING INNOVATION CONTEST”  So if you aren’t yet conviced that Popping PopShockets isn’t addivive then you might be living under a rock Oh before I close this product is great for the iPad Air, iPad Mini and they even have a special iPhone 5S Popsocket

Conclusion:

So in all it’s not bad for a moveable stand, and I like how the adhesive you can wash and reuse  The final score averages out to be a 10 out of 10
