Today I am going to review a high quality HDMI Switch from a company called Kinivo this company offers innovative consumer electronics products that help customers in their home, at work or when they are on the move. their products are conceived & designed in USA and manufactured in state of the art factories overseas with strong emphasis on best manufacturing and quality assurance processes.the switch costs about $39.95 USD  comes with Free shipping on Amazon so that’s all you will pay. So not bad for the price but how does it perform? That’s what this review intends to show you, so read on….

Info:

Product Name: Kinivo 501BN Premium 5 port High speed HDMI switch

Provider: Kinivo

Price:  $39.95

The Review:

The packaging, is a white box with the Kinivo 501BN picture on the box along with features and specifications

The HDMI switch does have an identifying mark on it which is the Kinivo logo  on the top of the switch along with some other logos like 1080p

This switch has 4 ports in the front and one on the left near the AC power the output is at the opposite end this switch supports 3D,720p ,1080p and many other popular formats and this product will automatically switch to the currently active input source if there is only one active input. If there are multiple active inputs, then you can select the input either using the IR remote or using the select button on the switch. The HDMI signal from the selected input is passed through to the output HDMI connection.

Conclusion:

So yes the Kinivo 501BN is affordable for a premium HDMI switch , but is it even worth it? I would say YES if you only have one hdmi port and need to plug in your cable box,Apple TV, Roku, Google Chrome TV, Amazon Fire TV or any other device that uses a HDMI port excluding external  monitors since it’s not that type of switch but over all I really liked it now I don’t have to run upstairs just to watch something on my Roku everything is downstairs on the big 55” flat screen tv I can even plug my iPad into one of the HDMI ports if I wanted to show a demo of an app I wouldn’t use it for a video since I have the Apple TV for this but you could run a video though your iPad though this if you wanted to

The final score averages out to be a 10 out of 10, but that takes into account everything,

PROS CONS
+Well Made
+Perfect for anyone who needs more then one HDMI port for there many devices like the Apple TV,ROKU and Google Chrome TV
None that I could find
