Today I will be showing you how to unlock your Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge for use with any GSM carrier. Some things you will need:
1.) Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge locked to a GSM carrier
2.) Web browser of your choice.
3.) Small payment will be needed for the unlock code. Don’t worry, it is 100% worth it.
Go to the phone app and type in: *#06#. Then you will be presented with an IMEI and Serial Number. Either screenshot this screen or write down the IMEI number somewhere safe for use.
Navigate your way to UnlockPanda.com and fill out the info on the right side of the screen. You will be asked for your phone model, manufacturer, IMEI number that you previously took note of, and email. After you fill out all of that info, go to checkout and complete the payment. Depending on if you chose priority delivery or not, you will receive your unlock code between 1 hour and 6 days after checkout. Eventually, you will get an email containing your unlock code.
Now power off the phone. Then add in a SIM card from a different carrier. In my case, I am using a T-Mobile SIM Card on the AT&T variant of the phone. Power on the phone.
When booted on, you will be prompted for an unlock code. Insert in the code you received in your email and you should press unlock, then you should see a “Network Unlock Successful” screen.
That’s it! Your Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is now unlocked and ready for use with any GSM carrier!
