Today I am going to review a pair of ear buds these are from a company called Plantronics which is a global leader in audio communications for businesses and consumers.  The ear buds are bluetooth and can be charged with the included carry case the ear buds cost about $99.99 USD  So not bad for the price but how does it perform? That’s what this review intends to show you, so read on….

Info:

Product Name: Plantronics BackBeat GO 2

Provider: Plantronics

Price: $99.99

The Review:

The packaging, is box for a headset which reminds me of a how smart phones are packaged

The headset does have a few identifying marks on each ear bud t which is the words Plantronics letting you know it’s there earbuds These ear buds indeed live up to being a great item for any kid or older adult who wants something different from their ear buds in my opinion…

Set up couldn’t have been easier in less than 5 mins I was ready to start enjoying my music on my phone with my new Backbeats but I would still recommend you read up on the paperwork that comes with your backbeat when you get them just to make sure you know how they work and how to tell when the battery on the carrying case is getting low

Something that is really cool about the Backbeat Go is that you will always get high quality audio with rich bass, crisp highs, and natural mid tones as well as  providing premium acoustics in a compact, lightweight design. Based on the past version of the backbeat GO they have improved the overall power management on this release with extended listen and talk times and the introduction of DeepSleepTM hibernation mode to keep battery life up to six months.

Just like the Rig Gaming Headset this product has a sweat-proof  coating with P2i moisture protection technology that repels sweat, rain, or spills which is great for kids or anyone who is outdoors on a hike up MT.Monadnock

Now onto the ear buds I really liked the concept of a battery case with Wireless Earbuds when  I saw this at CES 2014 while I was there as well when I got a review unit, I can only talk about one minor problem I had as I said in the video below which was the right earbud wouldn’t stay in I was thinking maybe I would benefit from the larger earbud even though the left stayed in fine

Conclusion:

So yes this ear buds might be expensive for some budgets, but is it even worth it? Yes! if you want to be able to take calls while your on your morning jog or maybe cleaning up around the house  it’s a product you got to have I believe it would be a useful gift for any kid or adult who is into Skype, Gaming and chatting with the GF/BF on their mobile with all the features I think it this a worthwhile product

This ear buds are well made and of course since you are buying from Plantronics you know you are getting grade A tech support if heaven forbid anything goes wrong

So in all it’s not bad for a Bluetooth Earbuds, given all the options for Bluetooth Audio out there on the market and compared to all the features you have with the BackBeats then with others I believe it’s best to get your earbuds from Plantronics

The final score averages out to be a 9 out of 10, but that takes into account everything, but as you can see below it the pros out do the cons by a long shot.

PROS CONS
+Worth the Price
+Seems well made
+Comfortable
-Right Earbud slips out when just walking ——-Pocket the earbuds go in could just be a tad bit bigger (seems they are packed in like canned sardines)
