Today I am going to review an action camera from a company called DBPOWER is an is a consumer electronic manufacturer which products are currently sold in US, UK, Germany and Italy through Amazon. The camera is listed and sold for $59.00 but just like everything on amazon I’ve seen the price go up to $99.99, The camera comes with Free Shipping if you have Prime  So not bad for the price range but how does it perform? That’s what this review intends to show you, so read on….

Info:

Product Name: DBPOWER N6 4K WiFi Action Camera

The Review:

Okay last time I’ve checked out an action camera it was about a few months ago on this site. It was my TEC.Bean. When I compared both this DBPOWER and the Tec.Bean There was a many differences as was to be expected but the only thing that was a problem this time was I couldn’t get sound.

My experience as I said in the video below is very clear this camera was good apart from the sound problem I liked a lot about this camera from the ability to use the camera it’s all touch no playing around with buttons, selecting options is quite easy once you get used to it. The app is quite basic, record and take pictures and use as a external screen the only reason you might want the app is when you mount your camera up in a tree, on a helmet and even outside on a car or if you want to record a Youtube video showing yourself on camera this way you know how you look in the frame.

I’ve always liked sports cameras ever since my Kodak waterproof camera which is still a great camera but that had a fixed battery. The DBPOWER Action Camera comes with everything you might need no matter the sport or outdoor activity you want to film. In terms of packing there is no waste of cardboard just a bunch of plastic zip bags you can reuse. The quality of each accessory is not bad.

The DBPOWER Action Camera comes with two batteries and is the same as the SJCAM battery so if you want extras you can buy them on Amazon but be sure you are getting the correct one  As for audio I can’t say too much but after writing this blog post a few days and now looking at the test clips I recorded it did record audio but when I played it back on the camera no sound was played besides hiss. Video quality isn’t the best but pictures are ok but still doesn’t measure up to the price tag

Conclusion:

So yes the camera is expensive than some other sport cameras out there, but is it even worth it? I would say tread lightly and maybe get a SJCam/GoPro and try the DBPOWER Action Camera and return the ones you don’t want.

Another thing is the video quality didn’t seem to be 4k but on the display screen it looked ok I switched to something called Gyro mode and it looks like I can see the inside of the camera which that camera look doesn’t look very pleasing. With a few other 4k camera I’ve tested they looked sharp like 4k is supposed to be but who knows maybe I did get a customer return and that would fall on amazon not the seller since it was Fulfilled by Amazon, If you are looking for a sports camera with a touch display then this is one to help you compare to another one in your cart and see what works for you (Be sure to watch both unboxing and review videos in the post to help you with your decision and feel free to contact the seller and other customers on Amazon with questions)
