Today I am going to review a small portable bluetooth car adaptor from a company called Exeter Science & Entertainment (ESE) produces and markets Bluetooth devices under the CoolStream brand. The company is headquartered in Exeter, NH (yep you might of guessed it the same state as I am from NEAT right?) The adaptor costs about $35.99 USD with FREE shipping so that’s all you will pay. So not bad for the price but how does it perform? That’s what this review intends to show you, so read on….

Info:

Product Name: CoolStream Car Chat Plus

Provider: Coolstream

Price: $35.99

The Review:

The packaging, is small box  inside the box you will find the adaptor with a 3.5 cable attached to the usb bluetooth adaptor and a mini usb cable (which I don’t know why) there is also simple instructions to get you set up in the box too and for retail purposes a picture of the Car Chat on the box

The Car Chat does have an identifying mark on it which is Coolstream® logo on the product By first glance this adaptor might look like just another usb charging adaptor but it’s not Coolstream has added there famous technology into it so the same way you would use your Duo it’s the same way but it’s powered by the car and not a rechargeable battery so those with cars with the 3.5 cable connection can use this otherwise you might need some other adaptor to use this adaptor (confused watch the video below)

I’ve used this adaptor in friend’s car but of course I didn’t have any camera with me at the time to show it so I showed it in the video with non bluetooth speakers and a car battery charger  I was thankful for this since we were going to boston for the day and wanted to play our own songs for the trip there is no pairing besides a one time setup pairing with two of your devices just as you would do with other bluetooth devices afterwards just flip on bluetooth on your device and look for the Coolstream Car Plus even if it was paired with a device you can now pair two at the same time, just a note it will also play sound from both devices as we found out when we both pushed play our ears will never be the same (hehe) so keep that in mind  This product indeed lives up to the standards that most of us crave for our car audio needs in my opinion…

Conclusion:

So yes the product is inexpensive but is it even worth it? I would say YES if you want to use your bluetooth devices in the car with your non bluetooth stereo

So in all it’s not bad for adaptor The final score averages out to be a 10 out of 10,

PROS CONS
