AOMEI Backupper, formerly known as AOMEI Data Backupper has changed a lot nowadays, we think it is time to introduce you again with the newest version 3.5.
AOMEI Backupper has several editions now, some are free, some are paid. Free editions are AOMEI Backupper Standard and AOMEI Backupper Standard for Win 7(PS: this edition does not support Windows XP and Vista). Paid editions are AOMEI Backupper Professional, AOMEI Backupper Server, AOMEI Backupper Technician and AOMEI Backupper Technician Plus. The most used edition is the free backup software – AOMEI Backupper Standard. So, in this article, we also describe mainly based on this edition.
The GUI of AOMEI Backupper still as before – cool deep blue, but the inner features did. Under Backup window, AOMEI Backupper added File Backup and File Sync. About restoring, AOMEI Backupper realized universal restore. Thus you are able to restore your data from a dissimilar hardware.
Clone functions added System Clone. The Standard Edition can enjoy this function as well, just need to unlock the function first. The process is free, share and submit can be done. Then you can migrate OS from HDD to SSD.
Utilities integrated in AOMEI Backupper has been added too. AOMEI PXE Boot is a practical tool. It can load the micro-systems on multiple computer over network for maintenance at the same time. AOMEI Backupper paid editions has more utilities, such as Merge Image.
AOMEI Backupper always keeps up with the trends, it supports the latest Windows 10 and multiple languages: except English, but also French, German, Japanese and Chinese. Even the free edition has some features that are paid to use in similar backup software: one of them is event-triggered scheduling backups. AOMEI Backupper provides four types: user logon, user logoff, system startup and system shutdown. It is designed to perform backup tasks to protect your data in real-time automatically. - AOMEI Backupper has been updated to 4.0.2 on December 30, 2016, new changes:
1.Added real-time file sync: monitor files for changes and synchronize new added, modified or deleted files from source to target path as soon as the change has occurred.
2.Support to choose a cloud drive desktop app as the target path of file backup and file sync, including Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, Box, SugarSync, hubiC and Cloudme.
3.Added shortcut to Network Share/NAS: click the “Select a network share or NAS” at the drop-down menu of the target path.
4.File restore supports to only restore the selected files instead of the path where the files you want to restore located.
5.Added image deploy tool to AOMEI Backupper Technician and Technician Plus.
6.The AOMEI Backupper Technician Plus supports to create a portable version by copying the installation directory of the software to other computer for direct use.
