Today I am going to review a bluetooth keyboard from a company called Anker they can’t exactly help you unwind, but they can make your tech gear that much easier to enjoy and they do this with passion. Say goodbye to first world tech woes like oppressive low batteries and limited ports. Say hello to an easier, smarter life. The design of the keyboard is very unique and  looks very nice for being able to type while on the run So how does it perform? That’s what this review intends to show you, so read on….

Info:

Product Name: Anker® TC940 Ultra-Thin Keyboard Case / Cover for iPad 4 / 3 / 2 – Smart Cover and Built-in 800mAh Lithium Battery

Provider: Anker®

The Review:

So I’ve reviewed a few different bluetooth keyboards in the five years I’ve started my reviewing career (can I call it a career?) I have always admired the smart cover design that Apple designed to go along with the iPad 2 then updated to a smart case I sometimes wondered “Is there a way to combine this apple smart magnets with a bluetooth keyboard” and while I did find one company earlyer this year I recently found a better well designed bluetooth keyboard enter the Anker® TC940 Ultra-Thin Keyboard Case / Cover for iPad 4 / 3 / 2 – Smart Cover and Built-in 800mAh Lithium Battery this product uses the same snap on design as the smart cover by apple but the difference with this keyboard as I explan in the video below is that it’s more sturdy to type on plus when you put your iPad into the groove the back half lifts off rather with the other company model I showed in the video you have to press for that to come up

The keyboard comes with a mini USB- USB cable to charge and a user manual

So you might be thinking why on earth do I need this bluetooth keyboard well let me tell you the Anker® TC940 Ultra-Thin Keyboard Case is great for those who are always on the go and need a real keyboard to type on since I’ve noticed that typing on the iPad isn’t always the best I know when I need to rough type something like a post or an email I always prefer using a standard keyboard like the one found on my Macbook Pro.

Another cool thing about this keyboard is that just like all bluetooth keyboards you can use it on your Macbook or iPhone so it makes it a better great if you need a keyboard for your iPhone if you have one of the new iPhone 6’s or maybe you have a iPhone 5 it will certainly fit in the groove where your iPad would fit. One more cool thing about this keyboard is that if your tablet or smart phone is about the same thickness or smaller like the Nexus 7 or iPad Mini this bluetooth keyboard will work with your device you just won’t be able to use the apple smart magnets with those devices

I used this product for a few weeks and I have to say I love the Anker® TC940 Ultra-Thin Keyboard Case / Cover for iPad 4 / 3 / 2 – Smart Cover and Built-in 800mAh Lithium Battery as I said in the beginning of this post I have used other keyboards in the past most are bulky and the keys are small with this keyboard this is not true and if I haven’t said enough something that has made me smile is that the Anker® TC940 Ultra-Thin Keyboard Case has a 800mAH battery which will last you up to 6 months based on only 2 hours each day so that means you charge this twice a year WHAT!  OH MY (something George Takei would say)

Conclusion:

So yes Anker® TC940 Ultra-Thin Keyboard Case / Cover for iPad 4 / 3 / 2 – Smart Cover and Built-in 800mAh Lithium Battery is an inexpensive bluetooth keyboard, but is it even worth it? I would say totally! but I would also recommend you get a Ghost Armor skin for your iPad so you iPad’s back stays protected from scratches since a little investment goes a long way

So in all it’s not bad for aUltra-Thin Keyboard Case and I don’t think you will find any other product with the smart cover and long-lasting battery at least I couldn’t if you are a person who travels alot you are going to respect this keyboard’s design when sitting in the terminal or on the airplane

The final score averages out to be a 10 out of 10,
