Today I am going to review a external battery from a company called Anker they can’t exactly help you unwind, but they can make your tech gear that much easier to enjoy and they do this with passion. Say goodbye to first world tech woes like oppressive low batteries and limited ports. Say hello to an easier, smarter life. The design of the external battery is very unique and looks very nice for charging your iPad and Smartphone while on the run So how does it perform? That’s what this review intends to show you, so read on….
Having a power bank or of any type no matter where I am is a MUST! This is a good practice for anyone because you never know when your phone or tablet could lose juice but with the amount of power banks out there on the market today which one do you choose there are lots and trust me I have reviewed a lot but recently I was offered another Anker product which I was happy to try since they have yet to disappoint the name of this battery is called Anker PowerCore 15600 I’ve been testing this battery for a few months and today I am proud to say it’s a darn good batery just as good as Anker’s Astro series This battery which uses some of the newest technology out there for powerbanks called PowerIQ and VoltageBoost which when combined deliver the fastest possible charge up to 2.4 amps per port or 4.8 amps overall (Input per port: 5V / 2A) Something that might be a bit tough compared to some other Anker products is this powerbank might not fit in a pocket due to the size but you should have no problem with putting it in a backpack for easy portability
Some of the best parts I liked about the PowerCore 15600 beyond the design and being able to charge a tablet once and about two iPhones and is it has a intelligent Power IQ and VoltageBoost the powerbank has two USB slots and 1 Micro USB slot to charge the powerbank The Powerbank does not a flashlight which I thought was odd since most external batteries are starting to feature in their products There is four LEDs that show remaining power: 1 LED indicates less than 25%, 2 LEDs: 25%-50%, 3 LEDs: 50%-75%, 4 LEDs: 75%-100%.
The Powerbank comes with a mini USB- USB cable to charge and a user manual along with support card oh and a carrying sleeve to help aid in travel
I used this product for a about a month and I have to say I love the Anker PowerCore 15600 Super High-Capacity Fast-Charging Portable External Battery with PowerIQ™ and VoltageBoost Technology I’ve used other power banks in the past most are too small and can’t charge a tablet and smartphone What I have noticed when watching my iPad charge is the device charges quick in under 2 hours my iPad was charged
So yes the power bank is priced right, but is it even worth it? I would say YES! if you want to have power so that you can charge your smartphone and a tablet together with no problem The final score averages out to be a 10 out of 10, but that takes into account everything
